We will clarify the relationship between the PFE Observation profile and the various US Core Observation profiles. In particular, we will  create an abstract profile capturing just PFE requirements create specific profiles extending US Core Observation profiles, including a profile that extends the US Core Survey Observation profile a profile that extends the US Core Clinical Test Observation profile These specific profiles represent the US Core observation profiles that cover the expected scope of the overlap between US Core Observation scope and the PFE Observation scope. In the case that entities need to go beyond these, they can use the abstract profile to determine the PFE-specific requirements and integrate them into other US Core Observation profiles, or others.
