      This IG will be updated in the Overview, Scope and Relation to IS Core and Other IGs sections to facilitate implementers how to consistently access the Human Services Directories within the context of directory services covering a variety of providers, health care services, community services, and social services. We will also clarify the relationship between this IG and the FAST accelerator specifications.

    Description

      It is important that all directory services covering a variety of providers, health care services, community servcies, and social services are interchangeable such that each stakeholder user can easily and consistently access the directory entries regardless of setting. Building on PDex provides such a direction, but it would be further helpful to acknowledge the efforts happening in the HL7 FAST accelerator to ensure this provides full alignment across all efforts.
