      Wherever SNOMED is referenced, the SNOMED URI should be the US Edition URI - or at least call out US Edition in addition to the international SNOMED edition.

      US Edition URI is http://snomed.info/sct/731000124108? , while the international version is http://www.snomed.org/

       

      So, for example, if you used 446131000124102 | Identifies as non-conforming gender (finding) |, (which is in Gender Identity   one of our US Core value sets) in an instance or example, unless you were validating against US Edition you would get a terminology error
