Description
IG Defined CodeSystems generally will need to be moved to THO. When they are created and expected to eventually be moved, the URL should indicate somehow it is temporary. Since CARIN already has numerous CodeSystems defined, it does not make a of sense to break the URL in order to warn implementers that the change will break in a future version. Instead, in the intro to every temporary code system at the text.
This is a code system defined by the CARIN BlueButton IG. As this IG matures, it is expected that this CodeSystem will be migrated to THO (terminology.hl7.org). The current CodeSystem should be considered temporary and subject to change in a future version.
