      add information from FHIR-36282

The goal of the Burden Reduction IGs is to move from Telephone, FAX, Portal, and mail to electronic transaction defined by these three IGs.  We recognize it will take time for provider and payer to fully implement these IGs and that certain PAs may never be implemented due to complexity.  However, the intent is to move a rapidly as possible to full support of these IGs by Payer, providers and any required intermediaries.

    Description

States that "CRD can identify a need for prior authorization and/or special documentation but, instead of linking to a DTR solution, might simply point to a website or other documentation with guidance on the appropriate forms to complete." If CRD is simply pointing to a website, it seems that the provider is essentially being directed to a dressed up portal, as it would require transposing information from the clinical record into a separate format and require additional work for the provider.
