      Add 3 terms (accepted, approved, created) to the CitedArtifactStatusType code system and value set which is used as Extensible binding for Citation.citedArtifact.currentState and Citation.citedArtifact.statusDate.activity.

      Provide more clarity in the definition of accepted, approved, and created statuses. Needs to carry more explanatory text than just the display name.

    Description

      Discussion in a previous FHIR tracker (https://jira.hl7.org/browse/FHIR-32322) includes additions to the CitedArtifactStatusType value set to support uses based on experience in examples and implementations.

      Proposed disposition is to add 3 terms (accepted, approved, created) to the CitedArtifactStatusType code system and value set which is used as Extensible binding for Citation.citedArtifact.currentState and Citation.citedArtifact.statusDate.activity.

       

      This is a compatible change.
