WG will review use cases and a future proposal for a pre-coordinated grouper Observations, and outputs of future genomic Operations or GraphDefinitions, but expects this grouping will be better suited to the following options:

      1. Searchsets from more refined FHIR API queries
      2. Curated Lists of Observations from varying business rules

WG will review Review current query guidance: http://build.fhir.org/ig/HL7/genomics-reporting/usecases.html and highlight use-case driven queries to return current IG examples

    Description

Suggestion from reviewing the spec with Hayden, who can provide more context/details on this. We suggest using groupers to achieve the goal of having separate observations for each independently useful assertion. Groupers can work similar to implications, where specific types of groupers can provide additional information, depending on the profile they exist in. That way there'll be an observation for an independently useful assertion.
