    Description

The National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) fully supports the comments submitted for electronic case reporting and others relative to "Standardized Core Subscription Topics for Public Health and Other Secondary Data Users". The identified US Public Health TriggerDefinition Named Events may support multiple use cases related to Public Health reporting at NCHS. Having a standardized, core set of subscription topics will be critical in the implementation of reporting and in minimizing burden on providers of care and EHR systems.
