Description
This suggests that MedicationRequest (vs. NCPDP SCRIPT) is used to submit the prescription to the pharmacy – is that correct? This suggests a different transaction be used if the prescription order is accompanied by unsolicited information. Suggest clarifying this, as information earlier in this guide suggests the SCRIPT standard is used to send electronic prescriptions for specialty medications to pharmacies.
