    Description

      This a comment on text found on the Situational Awareness page of the version currently in ballot. This isn't necessarily involving the Situational Awareness Measure page, but it was the closest available.       The key mechanism by which this guide supports situation awareness is through communication of measures related to essential elements of information needed to support emergency preparedness and response activities.

      Comment: 
       
      Some public health jurisdictions have their jurisdictional hospitals reporting resource availability routinely outside of pandemic or large scale event response for routine situational awareness and preparedness for an emerging event. It might be helpful to recognize explicitly that some might utilize a scaled down version of an implementation during peacetime but then scale up during war time.
