Da Vinci has two patient profiles.  On the de-identified patient, we prohibit patient name and identifier.  That conflicts with the basic use-case of US Core, which is an identified patient.  We don't think US Core patient should change.  It seems inappropriate to create a generic de-identified patient in US Core because de-identification must always be use-case specific to ensure that needed information is present, while minimizing the risk of identification.  That's not something that can be done in a generic manner.
