Description
The Care-Gaps Operation allows you to specify a practitioner or a practitioner plus organization. As we discussed this more with the Da Vinci DEQM/GIC call, that was added to represent the attributed provider. It also allows for Program
The attributed provider is likely not as simple as the GeneralPractitioner or ManagingOrganization in the Patient resource. Since practitioners can be attributed as a PCP, speciality like oncology or cardiology or even for specific Programs
There is also not a location within FHIR to specify the Program for a specific patient, period of time, etc.
To use these options, we need to define how to use them in FHIR or alternatively remove the options from the care-gaps operation.
Note: The ATR IG can be used to create groups. This group would represent the attribution and then can be used in the care-gaps operation to run Gaps in Care reports for all attributed patients for a practitioner/organization combination.
