CDex is to support the exchange of clinical information between providers and payers so if CDEX is in scope, so we are still unclear if by "supplier" you are trying to capture both traditional payers and other? Does this mean supplier uses CDex to ask ordering provider for missing info? Or, payer uses CDex to ask for missing info – but does that need to get routed to supplier than back to ordering physician? That would be cumbersome. Again, it needs to be clear that payer is calling the shots on what documentation is needed, and most likely the payer is going to initiate additional documentation request – unless supplier can easily see something is missing from initial order bundle.
