Issue:

Depending on the URL used, there appear to be two different OIDs assigned to the Observation category value set:

• https://hl7.org/fhir/R4/valueset-observation-category.html - (2.16.840.1.113883.4.642.3.403)
• https://hl7.org/fhir/R4/codesystem-observation-category.html - (2.16.840.1.113883.4.642.4.1125)

These both appear to be the same content, even though one page specifies it as a code system and the other as a value set. Additionally, neither OID is in the HL7 OID registry.

Which OID is to be used in a FHIR message?

Request:

• Register the appropriate OID in the HL7 OID registry for verification and validation
• Identify which is the correct OID for this value set and update
