      This information is pertinent to implementers because it illustrates the relationship between content in this IG to that in the NCPDP real-time pharmacy benefit messaging. Because implementers should be aware of this-especially those building both consumer and provider messaging-it is appropriate to present it with other implementer guidance sections.

      Separately, an error on this page was found while reviewing this comment--Patient Clinical Info (DIagnosis) is incorrectly shown as being returned in the NCPDP message's response.

      To correct this, the following change must be made to the Consumer vs Provider RTPBC page:

      • Remove Patient Clinical Info (Diagnosis) from the NCPDP response section of the illustration
