Existing Wording

The eICR includes very limited guidance regarding how to document occupational information. In volume 2, page 72, the user is directed to the examples provided on the HL7 website to see how to expect the information to be represented. The example provided does not present occupation, it presents ‘current employer’, not occupation. Also, more structure is needed to ensure all users of the eICR know how to develop the interface to populate the eICR, and how to use the information in the eICR.
