The schematron generated from Trifolia on 12/21/2016 doesn't check for the manual trigger template (2.16.840.1.113883.10.20.15.2.3.5) unless there is a documentation/serviceEvent in the header. documentationOf is listed as MAY in the specification, with no conditional requirements. You get this error if the manual template is included but documentationOf is not * An automatcially initiated eICR must contain at least one of Initial Case Report Trigger Code Lab Test Order, Initial Case Report Trigger Code Problem Observation, or Initial Case Report Trigger Code Result Observation. If documentationOf is included but the manual template is not, this error occurs * A manually initiation eICR must contain at least one Initial Case Report Manual Initiation Reason Observation.

Proposed Wording

Update the schematron to allow the below error to check for all four templates, and remove reliance on the documentationOf element. * An automatcially initiated eICR must contain at least one of Initial Case Report Trigger Code Lab Test Order, Initial Case Report Trigger Code Problem Observation, or Initial Case Report Trigger Code Result Observation.
